Our story
Why I started DediCare.
I come from a family that runs care homes, so caring for seniors has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I grew up watching families arrive at our doors in a panic after a fall, a sudden diagnosis, or a hospital discharge with no plan. They were scrambling to place a parent they love with no time to learn how any of it works.
I don't want to watch families go through that alone anymore, and that's why we set out to help Bay Area families through DediCare.

Yes, completely free for your family. Like most placement services, we're compensated by the community your loved one chooses, only after a successful move-in. You never pay us, and it never changes our recommendation.
What areas do you serve?
We work with families across the Bay Area and know the communities in each city personally. Call us and we'll tell you exactly what's available near you.
How quickly can we tour?
Often within a day or two, sometimes the same day in an urgent situation, like a hospital discharge. Tell us your timeline and we'll move at your pace.
My parent has dementia. Can you help?
Absolutely. Memory care is one of the most important matches we make, and the differences between communities are real. We'll guide you to the ones with the right training, security, and approach for your loved one.
Do I have to decide right away?
Never. There's no obligation at any point. Many families talk to us long before they're ready, just to understand their options. Whenever you're ready is the right time.
